Way back in time, when members of Da Management were mere whippersnappers, bands were known as groups, or beat groups. Before that bands or orchestras were larger ensembles (another name for a band.) At that time, groups were also sometimes called combos or outfits. Nowadays, groups of singers are often wrongly described as boy bands or girl bands. That's absolute nonsense, as they don't play instruments. You also see entertainment described as live music, when it is really a good live singer, or maybe a duo, with those dreaded backingtracks. Live music, by a pukka band, features singers with real musicians! Thus spake Da Management.
